Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing Dynamics Business Central modules – Finance, Inventory Management, Sales/Purchase Management and CRM.
  • Providing second-line support of systems within the Financial Systems Team.
  • Reviewing and maintaining user requests and system changes within the IT Service Management tool.
  • Adhering to and promoting business requests and change management processes.
  • Reviewing and resolving workflow errors.
  • Reviewing and resolving interface error logs.
  • Undertaking unit testing and providing support for full user acceptance testing for system upgrades and fix deployments.
  • Maintaining designs of third-party documents produced by systems, in line with business requirements.
  • Undertaking configuration changes in line with business requirements and appropriate approvals.
  • Undertaking root cause analysis for repeating issues, and proposing systems and process improvements.
  • Undertaking stakeholder management to recommend system solutions and improvements.
  • Analysing business processes and information flows in line with the business project.
  • Reviewing and refining processes to improve efficiencies as applicable with the relevant process owner.

Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in Business Central
  • Demonstrable experience in Dynamics Business Central.
  • Excellent knowledge of D365 BC functional modules, specifically Finance.
  • Requirements gathering, analysis and the ability to convert raw requirements into an actionable design document.
  • Knowledge of any add-on solution on top of NAV/BC in any domain will be good to have.
  • Demonstrable experience in effectively supporting finance teams and the ability to articulate service demands and proposed solutions,
  • Good working knowledge of business finance in a project-based environment.
  • Previous experience working in a second-line support position.
  • Experienced with Financial Systems, including business requirements analysis and the use of IT Service Management tools.
  • A personable, approachable character will work well in this environment.
  • Ability to empathise and provide solutions.
  • Have excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
